Mainly used in modern insulating plaster systems, by reinforcing Styrofoam or lamellar wool with a fibreglass mesh. Maximum layer thickness should be about 6 mm. In order to increase pressure and impact resistance 2-3 layers could be applied and a fibreglass mesh placed in the top third.
Synthetic plaster is mainly a part of insulation plaster which is in turn covered by a finishing plaster or paint.
